Real Time with Bill Maher’s guest lineup tonight includes the latest candidate to enter the presidential race.

It seems like more than ever, each new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher is a must-watch. That trend should certainly continue with tonight’s guest lineup.

Bill Maher’s remote episodes during the COVID-19 pandemic have been some of his best not only among season 18’s production but beyond. Whether or not his audience is always agreeing with him is a different story. But there is no denying that Maher and Real Time are moving the needle and generating conversation.

The show has addressed the pandemic from every possible angle. The government response, the media coverage, and the role of China have all been up for debate.

Fans should expect more of the same on tonight’s show. Here’s a breakdown of who will be joining Maher on Real Time.

Rep. Justin Amash

The lead guest on tonight’s show will also be making his Real Time with Bill Maher debut. Representative Justin Amash is scheduled to join the show.

Amash has represented Michigan’s third congressional district since 2011. His party affiliation has changed from Republican to Independent in 2019 and then to Libertarian just last month.

With that party change, Amash announced that he established an exploratory committee to seek the Libertarian Party’s nomination for president in the 2020 election.

Amash has opposed President Donald Trump since the 2016 election. This has made him a frequent target of the president, something that will be a focal point in the Real Time interview. Expect Maher to press him on his election status, the state of the GOP, and the Trump administration.

Dan Savage

A familiar face to Real Time fans is also set to appear. Author and activist Dan Savage returns to the show.

Savage writes the syndicated relationship and sex advice column “Savage Love” while also hosting the “Savage Lovecast” podcast. As an LGBTQ activist, he founded the It Gets Better Project.

Savage has also created an organization in support of those opposing President Trump. He will no doubt share his thoughts on the government response to the pandemic and efforts to “reopen” the country as soon as possible.

Amy Holmes

Rounding out the guest lineup is another frequent Real Time visitor. Political commentator Amy Holmes returns to the show for the first time since 2017.

Holmes co-hosts the conservative talk show In Principle on PBS. She can also be read in the Swiss publication Die Weltwoche.

Tonight, expert Homles to weigh in on Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump, the American economy, and the White House plan to get people back to work. Her conversations with Bill Maher are always insightful and engaging so tonight should be no different.
