Jimmy Kimmel recapped all the tears and drama in the season finale of The Bachelor.

Another love story came to an dramatic end Tuesday night as The Bachelor aired its season finale. The show finished with some unexpected twists and turns…unless you’re Jimmy Kimmel.

Pilot Pete Weber had narrowed his choices down to Madison and and Hannah Ann. But it wouldn’t exactly be The Bachelor if things went smoothly. The finale featured Pete taking a shot at love with both women only to ultimately wind up alone…for now.

Jimmy Kimmel has benefited from sharing his ABC home with the Bachelor franchise. He gets the first interview with the star and usually gets to interview the happy couple when things do end in an engagement.

That wasn’t exactly the case with Pete’s season of The Bachelor. Instead, more headlines were made by his very emotional mother. Kimmel coverd that and much more, including yet another successful prediction, during Tuesday night’s monologue.

Kimmel has made a point to credit his wife Molly McNearney for actually making the Bachelor and Bachelorette predictions. But that hasn’t kept Kimmel from calling himself Rosetradamus for his ability to see into reality television future. Seven out of nine correct picks is an impressive feat by McNearney.

Like many Bachelor fans, Kimmel couldn’t ignore the performance by Pete’s mother Barbara. Both in the finale and in-studio live taping, Mrs. Weber was emotional, opinionated, and may have made history as the first Bachelor parent openly booed by an audience.

Jimmy Kimmel, or more likely Molly McNearney, will have a chance to keep the prediction streak going when The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart premieres in April. Keep checking Last Night On for more highlights from Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the rest of late night television.
