Late night: Five guests to watch this week – February 10, 2020
By Matt Moore
Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell
Late Night with Seth Meyers
Late Night with Seth Meyers welcomes two big time movie stars at once. Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell will stop by the show on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Louis-Dreyfus and Ferrell co-star in the comedy Downhill coming to theaters on Feb. 14. It is a remake of a Swedish film that follows a married couple at a ski resort after surviving an avalanche. The movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and has received mixed reviews in comparison to the original.
Despite the reviews, the star power and popularity of Louis-Dreyfus and Ferrell should be more than enough to get fans to the theaters. The two provided a memorable performance as presenters at the Oscars and will surely bring that same chemistry to Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Will Ferrell has long been one of the best guests in all of late night television. Typically he conducts his interviews in character or while performing some sort of bit. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, he comes up with alongside fellow Saturday Night Live alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Speaking of Saturday Night Live, it will surely come up during the interview. Seth Meyers can’t resist talking SNL anytime someone from the show visits Late Night. Given the fact that Meyers was part of the cast along with Ferrell and Louis-Dreyfus having spent time as a cast member, Late Night viewers could be treated to some behind-the-scenes stories.
