Seth Meyers was joined by his brother and actor Jack McBrayer in an eventful day of drinking with the Jonas Brothers.

Spending a day drinking with someone can be a good way to build up a bond. After all, you’re counting on that person to help you get home before the sun even goes down. Late Night with Seth Meyers took that idea to the next level with a brothers-themed day drinking event with the Jonas Brothers.

There is no more famous set of brother than the Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas. The pop group has reinvented themselves from their early Disney days, becoming one of the biggest acts in all of music in 2020. Much of their reunion/comeback has played out on late night television as the group has developed its audience of old and new fans.

In late night, the brothers everyone knows are Seth and Josh Meyers. Seth Meyers has brought in his brother for a number of Late Night bits including game shows, interviews, and of course day drinking.

So it was only right that Josh Meyers joined Seth Meyers and the Jonas brothers for Late Night‘s latest edition of “Day Drinking.” And to make things even, 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer was named an honorary Meyers brother for the day.

Seth Meyers remains the last bartender you’d want behind the bar making drinks but probably the first one you’d want back there for conversation. He proved that he has learned nothing about cocktails since his last day out with Rihanna. His brother-inspired drinks left something to be desired but credit goes to the Jonas brothers and McBrayer for actually drinking them.

From there, it was clear who the three comedians were and who the three pop superstars were. Or maybe it was clear who the three guys in their late 40s were and who the three guys in their late 20s/early 30s were.

It’s obvious that the Jonas Brothers don’t take themselves too seriously as band either. They were happy to have fun at their own expense with the “Hair Goalz” game. And they even had McBrayer help them out with a TikTok recreating a scene from the classic Camp Rock.

And the Jonas brothers also showed that they could have a career in the musical comedy genre. The band’s five-minute creation “In Bed by Nine” wouldn’t exactly be Disney-approved but it got a bigger laugh than “Drunk at Noon” from the Meyers/McBrayer brothers.

The Jonas Brothers certainly have come a long way from the Camp Rock days. A major component of that has been their late night appearances where the band has proven to be a must-see guest that always delivers something different.
