Al Pacino

Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Late night fans can close out their week with a movie icon. Al Pacino comes to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, Jan. 16.

Pacino’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! is something of a victory lap for his film The Irishman. The Netflix move was nominated for Best Picture and Pacino picked up a nomination for Best Supporting Actor along with co-star Joe Pesci.

Pacino has a long history with the Academy Awards. He won Best Actor in 1993 for his role in Scent of a Woman. The 79 year old actor has also been nominated another eight times for his work in movies like The GodfatherSerpico, and Glengarry Glen Ross.

His nomination for The Irishman comes in his first time working with legendary director Martin Scorsese. Scorsese talked about the experience during his interview with Jimmy Kimmel last month.

It is not very often that Al Pacino makes the late night rounds. So fans can anticipate that Kimmel will make the most of his interview with the actor, asking him about his over 50-year long career in addition to his work on The Irishman. For movie buffs, this will be a can’t-miss interview to end the week in late night.
