Larry David continues his promotion tour for Curb Your Enthusiasm this week. Fans can see him return to Conan on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Curb Your Enthusiasm returns to HBO for its ninth season on Jan. 19. He’s already been making the late night rounds with an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last week. But with the unpredictable release schedule of Curb, it’s hard to know when David will be popping up on late night shows. So when he’s around, fans should see as many appearances as the comedian makes.

It has been a while since David was on Conan but his last appearance was a memorable one. In addition to sharing the story above, he also commented about his dating life and how he is open to dating a woman even if its just because he’s rich and famous. That kind of candor is rare in late night interviews but then again, there aren’t too many people in entertainment quite like Larry David.

David and Conan O’Brien have a lot in common. Both worked at Saturday Night Live, both had contentious but ultimately rewarding working relationships with NBC, and O’Brien was once roommates  with Curb Your Enthusiasm star and producer Jeff Garlin.

It’s unlikely that David will want to talk about any of that during his Conan appearance. But it’s good to know that in the extremely rare case in which David has nothing to say, there is something O’Brien can fall back on.
