Late night: Five guests to watch this week – January 13, 2020

Late night television is back to its regularly scheduled programming this week and these are the guests to watch.

It has taken some time but late night television is finally fully back for 2020. Some shows have already aired new episodes this year but others took an extended break. But this week, fans will be treated to brand new shows across the board.

Not surprisingly, this comes at an important time in the entertainment industry. Network shows have returned for winter premieres, the award season is in full swing, and some highly anticipated movies are set to be released.

Last week saw the return of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Late Night with Seth Meyers, which both covered the Iran crisis. The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live! were also back and continued to deliver some of the best celebrity interviews in late night.

This week fans will get the return of Conan, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and to close out the week Real Time with Bill Maher. Conan O’Brien has remained busy with the “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast so even when his TBS show is on a break, O’Brien is putting in work.

But again, fans don’t have to worry about who is on and who is off this week. No matter where your turn and what show you tune in to, you’ll see a brand new episode. And on those shows will be some of the biggest names in music, television, movies, and comedy.
