Larry David

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming back to HBO for season 10. To get you ready, Larry David will be on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

Curb is set to premiere on Jan. 19. The show was last seen when season 9 closed out on Dec. 3, 2017. That’s quite a layoff between seasons. It’s not exactly the six years between seasons eight and night but it’s still been a while. Larry David has rarely gone along with what is considered “normal” in television and Curb Your Enthusiasm is no different.

Wednesday will be David’s first appearance on The Late Show. It will be interesting to see what kind of dynamic exists between David and Stephen Colbert. David must be a fan of Colbert considering he cast the comedian turned late night host in a season four episode of Curb back in 2004. A lot has changed since then for both performers so expect them to have a lot to catch up on.

Given the importance of politics to The Late Show, fans may also hear Colbert ask David about his portrayal of Senator Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live. Colbert has been known to do his own impression of Senator Sanders but David owns the role now.
