The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon put Daisy Ridley’s rap skills to the test in a Star Wars recap.

We are less than a month away from the end of the Star Wars saga. Well, at least the Skywalker saga. There are plenty more stories to tell in the Star Wars universe. So with the end in sight, Daisy Ridley has arrived with a new twist on recapping the story.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on Dec. 20. Episode IX will conclude the story of Luke Skywalker that began with 1977’s A New Hope.

The Rise of Skywalker, like The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi before it, will be led by actress Daisy Ridley in the role of Rey. While some fans were less than pleased with how Rey’s lineage played out in The Last Jedi, the scavenger-turned-Jedi will likely get an epic conclusion in the final installment thanks in part to director J.J. Abrams.

Ridley is now out promoting The Rise of Skywalker and one of the first stops on the tour was The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During her last appearance. Ridley showed off not only her bartending skills but her rap abilities.

Jimmy Fallon put those skills to the test on Monday night when Ridley returned. Watch as the actress rhymes her way through a galaxy far, far away and recaps everything from The Phantom Menace to The Last Jedi.

Chances are if you’re a Star Wars fan, you don’t exactly need a recap of where the story stands heading into The Rise of Skywalker. But Daisy Ridley’s rap is a nice change of pace from the other videos out there offering supercuts of the Skywalker saga or narrated versions of “the story so far.”

Most Star Wars fans will probably turn to Disney+ to help get them ready for Dec. 20. The new streaming service offers every Star Wars movie (except for The Last Jedi which remains on Netflix) along with the new original series The Mandelorian. And for what it’s worth, Ridley weighed in on the Mandalorian character taking the internet by storm and compared it favorably to the porgs.
