You had to have known that the clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon would be a game. And that means you knew it was with a hugely popular celebrity. And then you probably could have guessed that it had something to do with music.
Add up all those predictions and you get Ariana Grande playing “Wheel of Musical Impressions” with Jimmy Fallon back in 2015. The clip is by far the most popular on The Tonight Show‘s YouTube channel, besting Daniel Radcliffe rapping by about 44 million views.
“Wheel of Musical Impressions” has become the most popular game on a late night show practically dedicated to getting celebrities to play games. Stars like Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Demi Lovato have all been featured.
Ariana Grande’s performance stands out above the rest. She has become one of the most popular guests on Jimmy Fallon’s version of The Tonight Show and for good reason.
This edition of “Wheel of Musical Impressions” came out in 2015 between the releases of Grande’s albums My Everything and Dangerous Woman. That means it was well before she was a tabloid fixture for her personal life and before her popularity reached new heights with albums like Sweetner and Thank U, Next. You can imagine how many more views this clip would have if it was released during the height of Grande-mania.
