“Carpool Karaoke” is one of the most popular bits not only for The Late Late Show with James Corden and not only for late night television but in ALL of television. The fan-favorite segment has even been turned into its own standalone series.

Of the top 30 most popular clips on the Late Late Show‘s YouTube channel, 27 of them are “Carpool Karaoke” segments. The “least” popular is with rapper Cardi B and has 38 million views in just 11 months.

Stars like Justin Bieber, Sia, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, and Jennifer Lopez have helped make James Corden’s singalong ridealong his signature contribution to late night television.

On top of that list sits Adele. The segment is not only a must-watch for Adele’s impressive live vocals but for also the insight it gives into Adele the person. The singer shares stories of having a few too many drinks before engaging fans before showing off her versatility by rapping along to Nicki Minaj.

It is clear that Adele set the bar pretty high for every “Carpool Karaoke” that came after her. And when Corden has already traveled around singing with the likes of Paul McCartney and Kanye West, it is hard to imagine anyone topping Adele and her 207 million views.
