Will David Harbour bring Stranger Things to Saturday Night Live tonight?

Stranger Things star David Harbour hosts Saturday Night Live with musical guest Camila Cabello.

Season 45 of Saturday Night Live rolls on tonight with the third new episode. The host will be David Harbour, leading fans to wonder if he’ll get an assist from any of his Stranger Things co-stars.

Harbour has two tough acts to follow. Woody Harrelson delivered in the season premiere that went heavy on the impeachment story. Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge followed that up with a less political, more original episode that proved the actress could fit right in on the Saturday Night Live cast.

Chances are that Harbour is up to the challenge. As he told Seth Meyers during his appearance on Late Night, hosting Saturday Night Live has been a lifelong dream of the actor. Given the appreciation he has for SNL and his talents as an actor, Harbour should keep the momentum of season 45 going.

Most everyone knows Harbour as Jim Hopper from the Netflix series Stranger Things. Warning: spoilers ahead. Hopper’s fate following the season three finale is a bit ambiguous but millions of fans are hoping to see him back in season four along with Eleven, Mike, Joyce and the rest of the Stranger Things crew.

Is it possible that some of those Stranger Things co-stars could pop up on Saturday Night Live? Don’t be surprised if they do as this type of fan-service has been a popular move on SNL. Remember the mini Office reunion when Steve Carell hosted? Or when the Game of Thrones cast crashed Kit Harington’s monologue?

Something similar could be in store when David Harbour takes the stage at Studio 8H. It’s also possible that actors like Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, and Finn Wolfhard could show up for a Stranger Things parody sketch. We already know that SNL is a fan of Netflix’s sci-fi hit.
