Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans will get two Clintons for the price of one. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea Clinton will be on the show Monday, Sept. 30.

Both Chelsea Clinton and Hillary Clinton have appeared on The Late Show. They seemed to have pretty good chemistry with Stephen Colbert even when the host was willing to ask uncomfortable or pressing questions.

Fans can expect a little more of that on Monday night. It hasn’t been a great week for news about politicians’ children. And while Chelsea Clinton hasn’t had any controversies like Hunter Biden or the Trump kids, she can offer a unique perspective on how involved children can be in their parents’ political careers.

It was also reported that the State Department would be ramping up its probe into emails from her aides while secretary of state. Colbert will likely ask for a comment on that issue as well as the investigation into Trump over Ukraine.

The Clintons will first and foremost be on The Late Show to promote their book The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience. It should be a wide-ranging interview and one that gets its own headlines on Tuesday.
