From politics to entertainment to sports, there is a lot to talk about this week and late night features some must-watch guests.
Television is ready to start its most important season of the year. New shows are debuting while fan favorites are returning, some for a final season. With that being said, late night television remains an important part of any network’s success.
Shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Late Show with James Corden remain some of the best ways to promote a television show or its stars. It’s an added bonus when a network like NBC can send one of its newest stars to an in-house show like Late Night with Seth Meyers or A Little Late with Lilly Singh.
Of course, it’s not just television that is gearing up for a busy week, month, and season. Politics remains just as important to late night. The Ukraine scandal surrounding President Donald Trump and the Democratic candidates for president continue to influence late night. Movies already building major hype will also get a boost from late night and sports fans will also see a few athletes making appearances this week.
