Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost and Michael Che talked to Jimmy Fallon about Jost’s upcoming marriage to Scarlett Johansson.

We are just one day away from the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. Co-head writers Colin Jost and Michael Che have been planning the show for weeks now. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Che also talked about the big plans he hopes are in store for Jost’s bachelor party.

As most Saturday Night Live fans (and Marvel fans) know, Jost proposed to actress Scarlett Johnansson earlier this year. Wedding plans are likely well underway for an event that could feature some very famous friends.

And being the good friend/co-worker that he is, Michael Che only wants the best for Jost’s bachelor party. The SNL audience knows that Jost and Che have a very unique friendship that involves a fair amount of insults and backhanded compliments.

That was on display when the two sat down with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. Che expressed concerns over Jost’s style of partying and offered up his own ideas of what the bachelor party should be all about. That is, before the interview went completely off the rails thanks to the Bottoms Up bar.

So according to Che, Jost’s ideal party would be during the day and his fiancee Scarlett Johansson would be there, too. Che’s alternative? “Something dirty.” What exactly that means is hard to say but Jost may have set the bar for a dirty party at going to a butt-themed Hooters bar in New Jersey.

Steve Higgins definitely made sure that this interview went sideways. His “Tooters” joke set off a riff of butt jokes that showed Che looks especially ready for Saturday Night Live to get back to the jokes.
