Bill Hader on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

The hottest name in comedy, and maybe all of entertainment, right now kicks off the week. Bill Hader visits The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Hader’s HBO comedy/drama Barry recently finished up its second season. It was another success for Hader, both with audiences and critics. It resulted in another Emmy Award nomination for the actor who last year won Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series.

Now Hader is focused on promoting his film It: Chapter Two. Early reviews especially praised Hader’s performance. Some even went so far as to call it “Oscar worthy.” Hader could join a very short list of Saturday Night Live performers who earned Academy Award nominations.

Hader would land on this list no matter what he was promoting or how much buzz was around him at the time. He is one of the best guests in all of late night thanks to an incredible sense of humor and infectious joy he displays on whatever show he visits.

Visiting with Jimmy Fallon ensures that the two will have some bit or game planned that should get fans’ attention. Beyond that, expect Fallon to ask about why Hader chose to do a horror movie like It and what he has in store for season three of Barry.
