After a one day break for Labor Day, late night returns with a lineup of guests that will definitely get fans excited.

Don’t worry, late night fans: you won’t be going the whole week without any new shows. Yes, Monday night’s late night schedule featured reruns across the board. But that will change Tuesday night as things get back to normal.

And while “normal” is hard to define when it comes to late night’s schedule, things should at least be more predictable moving forward. Those summer breaks should be over now that Labor Day has come and gone.

Fans can expect a little more consistency in the schedule moving forward. For example, David Spade recently mentioned on Twitter that Lights Out is about to kick off seven consecutive weeks of new shows. Spade’s show is tied to The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, so don’t be surprised to see a similar workload for Trevor Noah.

Perhaps sensing that audiences may be extra eager to see some new content, late night shows have booked some big names this week. Athletes, actors, and presidential candidates are all expected to be seen between Tuesday and Friday.

Narrowing it down to five selections was no easy task. But click through the slideshow and see Last Night On’s picks for the five guests that fans should be most excited to see. Be sure to let us know what you think in the comment section, both on which show you’re happy to see return and what guest you want to watch the most.
