The Graham Norton Show celebrates #ThrowbackThursday with the funniest celebrity moments from the show.

Thanks to social media, Thursday has become all about looking back. This can be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how far back you want to go. The Graham Norton Show is giving fans a little bit of both.

The Graham Norton Show remains on break until Sept. The show wrapped up its 25th series on the BBC back in June. But that hasn’t stopped the show’s YouTube channel from giving fans more content.

Celebrities always seem a little different on The Graham Norton Show. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, aided by Graham Norton’s personality as well as the drinks guests are served. It also helps that the entire night’s lineup of guests appear at the same time, a format that was adopted by The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Perhaps it is that relaxed atmosphere that makes celebrities so willing to look back at moments that could be a little embarrassing. But that is part of the fun of #ThrowbackThursday.

It is pretty much a requirement at this point that Dwayne Johnson’s fanny pack and turtle neck be mentioned whenever discussing a celebrity throwback. Johnson’s outfit became a viral sensation, Halloween costume, and talking point for just about every interview Johnson has given since.

Things are equally embarrassing for David Beckham as Norton recaps the soccer star’s famous and infamous hairstyles. It is more of the same for Melissa McCarthy’s old headshots and Tina Fey‘s childhood portrait.

Speaking of headshots, it is hard to top Chris Pratt’s story. Just about every actor or actress who goes on a talk show has a story about their early days struggling to find work and gain traction in the industry. But nobody has a tale like Pratt’s retelling of getting pro bono headshots along with a shower from a friendly West Hollywood photographer.

It probably makes it easier to tell an embarrassing story when you’re sitting on the couch at The Graham Norton Show. Celebrities sharing stories like the one from Chris Pratt only make them more popular with fans. Which throwback was your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
