Michael Che on Late Night with Seth Meyers

Saturday Night Live fans will want to watch Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday Aug. 14. SNL’s co-head writer and “Weekend Update” anchor Michael Che will be the guest.

Che has become a frequent guest of Late Night with Seth Meyers typically appearing alongside fellow head writer and “Weekend Update” host Colin Jost. But on Wednesday Che will be solo when he sits down with Seth Meyers.

Anytime someone connected to Saturday Night Live is on Late Night, it is worth watching for fans. Meyers clearly has a love for SNL and his own time as a performer and writer. So whenever someone from SNL is a guest, Meyers seems just that much more excited to talk with them.

Expect Meyers to ask Che what he has been up to since season 44 ended back in May. Che has been doing stand-up around the country and could have a story or two about that. Then Meyers will probably ask how, if at all, preparations are going for season 45 of Saturday Night Live coming this fall.

You can bet that Che is eager to get back to writing jokes for “Weekend Update.” The 2020 election continues to heat up and elections are always big for Saturday Night Live. Che may give fans a preview on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
