One of the funniest people of all time will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week. Tune in on Wednesday July 31 to see Julia Louis-Dreyfus sit down with Jimmy Kimmel.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus recently wrapped up the final season of her HBO comedy show Veep. She, and the rest of the show, absolutely went out on a high note. The show was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series for this year’s Emmy Awards. Louis-Dreyfus picked up another nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Louis-Dreyfus already has eight Emmy Awards for her work on Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and Veep. A ninth would means she breaks the record she currently holds with Cloris Leachman. Things are looking good for the comedy legend to secure that ninth Emmy despite some talented competition in her category.
Jimmy Kimmel will most likely ask her to reflect on Veep as well as what it would mean to win another Emmy. After listening to Louis-Dreyfus on Conan O’Brien’s podcast, it doesn’t sound like the actress will be anything other than humble while also making sure its known she’s not done yet.
