Late night /

Another big week of late night guests is planned as well as the launch of a brand new show.

Late night television will look different starting this week. The launch of Lights Out with David Spade adds another show to the already expansive list of late night options. And Lights Out is just one place fans can see some big name guests this week.

Spade’s show will look to do something a little different than late night shows like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert or Late Night with Seth Meyers. The format won’t be the same and Spade will talk more about pop culture and sports than politics.

This will definitely work for Spade and fit his style of comedy. Meanwhile Colbert and Meyers will continue to do what they do best, proven by the Emmy Award nominations they picked up last week.

Helping these shows as always are the guests. They help keep things fresh and can also help the hosts show off their best qualities. The growing field of late night hosts will have plenty of assistance this week as some popular names from comedy, movies, and television are all on the schedule.

Take a look at Last Night On’s picks for the top five guests to watch this week. Be sure to let us know who you’re most excited to see and why in the comment section. Then check back all week as we break down the highlights from Lights Out and the rest of late night.
