Take time out of #ThrowbackThursday to enjoy these vintage Saturday Night Live sketches.

In the social media age, Thursdays are all about looking back. And nobody in late night likes to revisit the good old days quite like Saturday Night Live fans.

One of the benefits of a showing being on the air for 44 seasons is the incredible collection of material that has been produced. It also can lead to a healthy debate among fans about which era was the best or which performers have stood out the most over the history of Saturday Night Live.

The show itself has been doing its part to help provide evidence for any argument while also satisfying fans’ craving for more SNL during the summer break. The show’s official YouTube channel has been adding vintage clips every Saturday to hold over fans until season 45 arrives this fall.

Some of the latest clips to be added feature two of the most popular cast members of all time: Chris Farley and Bill Murray. The two had very different comedic styles but nevertheless are among the most beloved performers to ever take the stage at Saturday Night Live.

Farley was known for his physicality and ability to play loud, over-the-top characters that left crowds roaring in laughter. Murray could play very specific, very strange characters as well the straight man while also showing off his signature dry wit.

Check out the sketches below featuring Bill Murray and Chris as well as another from the latest batch added to Saturday Night Live‘s YouTube channel. Enjoy!

More clips will be added this Saturday and through the rest of the summer. The initial plan of releasing sketches in chronological order is still being followed while other random bits are added as well. Fans should expect sketches from the late 1980s and early 1990s to start showing up soon. Be sure to check in with Last Night On for everything Saturday Night Live.
