Kenan Thompson on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Saturday Night Live fans will want to tune in to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday July 18. Longtime cast member Kenan Thompson is the top guest.
It is probably hard for most fans to think of what Saturday Night Live was like before Kenan Thompson arrived. He joined the show in 2003 and was on a cast with Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Seth Meyers. It was also the final season for Jimmy Fallon.
Despite only sharing one season together on SNL, Fallon and Thompson have done plenty of work together whether it has been while Fallon hosted SNL or with Thompson as a guest on Fallon’s late night shows.
Thompson has already confirmed that he will be back on SNL for season 45. But he also has a couple other projects in the work which are sure to come up on The Tonight Show.
He will star in in his own NBC sitcom The Kenan Show. He is also one of the judges on the reality series Bring the Funny, an open mic style competition for stand-up comedians as well as sketch and variety performers.
It is always better when an SNL cast member gets interviewed by Jimmy Fallon because of the shared experience. As two fan-favorites, the conversation between Thompson and Fallon should be a good one.
