Tig Notaro on Conan

One of the funniest stand-up comedians will be on Conan this week. Tune in on Tuesday July 9 to see Tig Notaro sit down with Conan O’Brien.

Notaro has been active in comedy since 2001. She has two Grammy nominated specials in Live and Tig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted. The special for Boyish Girl Interrupted was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy.

Notaro also has a long history with Conan O’Brien. She has performed her stand-up on O’Brien’s show dating back to 2011. Since then she has made countless other appearances as a guest and was on the “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast earlier this year.

The comedian can now be seen hosting her own show Under a Rock with Tig Notaro. Found on Funny or Die’s YouTube channel, the show features Notaro trying to guess the identity of her celebrity guest. Notaro admits that she doesn’t watch much television or movies and isn’t exactly up to date on pop culture. It is a clever premise that shows off Notaro’s quick wit and deadpan style.

So far there have been five episodes featuring guests like Julie Bowen, James Van Der Beek, and Wyclef Jean. Be sure to watch the show ahead of Notaro’s appearance on Conan.
