Getting back to work after a holiday weekend will be a little easier thanks to these late night guests.

Now that the Fourth of July holiday is over, it’s back to regularly scheduled programming for most of us. While a handful of late night shows will remain on vacation this week, there are still plenty of guests worth getting excited for starting tonight.

Fans will have to wait another week to see some of their favorite shows. Ratings leader The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is off, as is its CBS partner The Late Late Show with James Corden. Also sitting this week out is the NBC team of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

That means most of the heavy lifting in late night falls to Conan and Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week. Both shows were off last week. Conan O’Brien returns from his trip to Ghana where he was filming another travel special with actor Sam Richardson.

Let’s hope that O’Brien and Jimmy Kimmel are more eager to get back to work than the rest of us. We are heading deeper into the summer season, meaning major entertainment projects are looking to late night to help with promotion.

We have already seen big blockbuster movies like Dark Phoenix and Spider-Man: Far From Home take over late night. Expect to see more of the same as more big time movies get released.

Here are Last Night On’s picks for the five most anticipated guests in late night this week. Let us know who you’ll be tuning in to see. Check back all week for the highlights and more.
