Will Smith fans looking to see more of the talented actor will have their wish granted on Tuesday, May 21. That’s when they can see the Aladdin star on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Whether you’re excited about the live action Aladdin or hesitant about the project, that shouldn’t prevent you from tuning in to watch Will Smith. His appearance as the Genie may not be popular among some online critics but there is no denying Smith’s popularity as an entertainer even 30+ years in to his career.
Smith has had a couple appearances with Jimmy Kimmel and they’ve always gone extremely well. Everyone knows that Smith’s has an infectious smile and a personality that fans gravitate towards. It is not a stretch to say that the success of 2019’s Aladdin will be based on love for Will Smith and how well he sells the movie.
You can be sure that Kimmel will be doing everything he can to help Smith achieve that goal. After all, Kimmel will want to show some sign of gratitude towards Disney after getting a new three year contract extension with ABC.
Smith has a few more projects that he may discuss. He stars in two other movies debuting this year: Gemini Man directed by Ang Lee and the animated movie Spies in Disguise. He also recently wrapped production on Bad Boys For Life which hits theaters in 2020.
