Here is who fans can expect to see on tonight’s new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher.

Friday night means it is time for Real Time with Bill Maher. And with another busy week of news, it should be another must-watch episode.

The 2020 election is only getting more and more crowded as former vice president Joe Biden officially joined the crowded field of Democrats. Late night has been having some fun with Biden’s return to the spotlight and now Bill Maher will have his chance to chime in.

Of course, Robert Mueller’s report on Russian election interference remains in the news. Attorney General William Barr testified in front of the Senate just hours after Mueller criticized Barr’s summary of the report.

There are still plenty of other things that Maher and his guests can tackle on Real Time. Here’s who will be joining Maher on tonight’s new show.

Top-of-show

The top-of-show guest will be Governor Jay Inslee of Washington. It will be his second appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher.

Inslee is also one of the 20 Democrats who have declared their candidacy for president in 2020. He has stated that climate change will be the primary policy of his campaign.

Inslee has been very critical of President Donald Trump’s administration. In addition to climate change, Inslee strongly opposed Trump’s efforts to ban immigrants from several Muslim-majority countries.

Mid-show interview

Musician Moby will make his second visit to Real Time and his first since 2004. He will sit down with Bill Maher as the mid-show interview guest.

Moby released his 16th studio album, Long Ambients 2, in March. Later this month he will publish his the second volume of his memoir Then It Fell Apart: Moby. The book chronicles the musician’s struggles with fame as well as drug addiction and alcoholism.

The panel

Attorney and political commentator Bakari Sellers will be on the panel. It will mark his Real Time with Bill Maher debut.

Sellers was a former member of South Carolina’s House of Representatives and is the first vice chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party. Sellers can now be seen as a political commentator on CNN.

Journalist Bret Stephens is also on the panel. It will be his fifth time on the show after visiting Real Time twice last season.

Stephens supports neoconservative views on foreign policy and has been critical of President Donald Trump. He has also been called a climate change denier, meaning he will have very different views than the top-of-show guest Jay Inslee will discuss.

Journalist Kara Swisher will round out the panel. Her only other appearance on Real Time came in 2018.

Swisher is the co-founder of the technology news website Recode. She is also a columnist for the New York Times where she also covers technology. Expert her to comment on the technology behind some of the electoral interference referenced in the Mueller report as well as concerns ahead of 2020.
