Will Last Week Tonight with John Oliver return from its break and give fans a new episode tonight?

Chances are that your weekend didn’t end on the high note you’re used to last week. That’s because like millions of others, you like to wrap things up by watching the latest episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

The HBO series took last week off, leaving fans without John Oliver’s trademark sense of humor and no entertaining topic to unpack. Nobody likes to have their routine thrown off and Last Week Tonight fans are no different.

Oliver has been on a hot streak this season. Topics like public shaming and psychic scams have been big hits both with audiences that tune into HBO and those that follow along with everything through the show’s YouTube channel.

So will Last Week Tonight give us an all new episode like Saturday Night Live did? Or will it be another repeat like we got in the second half of the week from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Late Night with Seth Meyers?

Thankfully, things will be back to normal tonight. John Oliver will close out the weekend, and March, with a brand new episode of Last Week Tonight.
