Is Last Week Tonight with John Oliver new tonight?

Another week coming to an end usually means it’s time for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
Most of us have our routines when it comes to winding down the weekend and getting ready for Monday morning. For millions of fans, Sunday night’s routine includes tuning into Last Week Tonight with John Oliver to end things with a laugh.
The sixth season of the HBO show is just over a month old but has already been another huge success. John Oliver has covered bogus psychics, the rise in robocalls, and public shaming among other topics.
Viewership has hovered around one million for the first five episodes. But it is on YouTube where Last Week Tonight attracts so many of its viewers. The segments from Sunday night are almost always trending on Monday morning. Views routinely exceed five million.
So with Oliver’s favorite stories like Brexit and Robert Mueller’s investigation dominating the headlines once again, will we see him tackle those again? Or perhaps something out of left field, as unexpected topics have become expected on the show?
Unfortunately, we won’t be getting any of that tonight. Last Week Tonight will not be airing a new episode. Like other late night shows such as Saturday Night Live, John Oliver and company are taking a break this week.
