Mark Hamill on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The Force will be with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday March 19. Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, will return as a guest to Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Hamill was last seen making the late night rounds to promote 2017’s Star Wars: The Last JediSince then, he’s had plenty to say about the movie, the choices made by director Rian Johnson, and the reaction from fans.

Despite his character’s fate in The Last Jedi, Hamill is expected to show up in December’s untitled Episode IX. Don’t expect him to reveal too much about his role in the film when he sits down with Jimmy Kimmel. And whatever he does say, don’t put too much stock into it. Hamill has developed a reputation for teasing Star Wars fans when it comes to spoilers.

Mark Hamill won’t be on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote Episode IX, anyway. He has a new role on the television series, Knightfall, on the History Channel. The show is currently in the middle of its second season. It recounts the story of the Knights Templar in which Hamill plays a veteran of the Crusades now tasked with training young knights. It certainly sounds similar to Luke Skywalker’s arc in the new trilogy.
