Chris Pratt on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

We weren’t joking about Marvel superheroes taking over late night this week. Star-Lord himself Chris Pratt is booked for Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, March 7.

But unlike Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson, Pratt will not be promoting a Marvel movie. Well, it won’t be the primary reason he visits Jimmy Kimmel. But it would be hard for Kimmel to ignore Pratt’s role in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame scheduled for release on April 26.

There will be plenty of time for Pratt and the rest of the Avengers to talk about Endgame on late night. In the meantime, expect Pratt to talk about his latest movie The Kid.

Hitting theaters on March 8, The Kid is a western directed by Vincent D’Onofrio. The movie features the real-life characters of Billy the Kid and Sheriff Pat Garrett. Chris Pratt plays the role of Grant Cutler, an antagonist the main character Rio.

It looks like The Kid will allow Pratt to play a much different character that what audiences have become used to seeing from him. He will be reunited with D’Onofrio and Ethan Hawke, both of whom co-stared with Pratt in his other western The Magnificent Seven.
