Is Real Time with Bill Maher new tonight, March 1?

Days after Michael Cohen’s testimony in front of Congress, can fans expect to hear Bill Maher weigh in on the story?

What a week it has been, huh? Two major political stories hit in a matter of days that sent the news cycle for a ride. Everyone has been talking and trying to make sense of it all. Times like these are when we look to Real Time with Bill Maher.

First we had President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen testify in front of the House Oversight Committee. It was a mix of things we already knew along with some hints at other scandals we weren’t so sure about.

Of course, late night had a lot of fun with Cohen’s testimony and the circus surrounding it. Late Night with Seth Meyers took a closer look at the entire day’s proceedings. Other shows like Conan and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah found reasons to laugh as well.

Then there was the negotiations in Vietnam between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Despite the high expectations placed on the meeting by Trump, he ended up walking away with nothing accomplished.

So clearly there is a lot to discuss from this week. And while hosts like Seth Meyers and Trevor Noah are fantastic at talking through stories like these, nobody does it like Bill Maher. And nobody can put together a panel like Real Time.

Unfortunately, there is no new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher tonight. Like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the HBO show has picked an inopportune time to take a week off.

Hopefully Real Time returns next Friday with a new episode. In the meantime, you can follow along with Bill Maher’s thoughts on Twitter by following @BillMaher. Keep checking in with Last Night On for updates on the show and everything else in late night.
