Senator Kamala Harris on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah

It is shaping up to be a very politics-heavy week in late night. That trend continues on Wednesday, Feb. 20 when Senator Kamala Harris joins Trevor Noah on The Daily Show.

Harris is part of the growing number of Democrats who have made official announcements regarding the 2020 presidential election. Harris believes she has what it takes to defeat President Donald Trump in his re-election bid.

The Daily Show is a good place for Harris to continue the late night part of her campaign. She already stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last month. These shows have practically become a requirement for presidential candidates who not only want to reach a different audience but show off their personality.

Harris has certainly been on The Daily Show‘s radar. As you can see in the clip above, her questioning of then-Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh gave Trevor Noah enough material for an entire segment. Since announcing her run for president, Harris’ views and positions have continued to be covered by Noah.

With President Donald Trump making his national emergency declaration to secure funding for his border wall, the power of the executive branch has been a hot topic in the last week. Hopefully Noah will get Kamala Harris to comment on Trump’s decision as well as provide some of her thoughts on what exactly a president should or should not do to enact his or her policies.
