Ellie Kemper on Late Night with Seth Meyers
Actress Ellie Kemper will be the lead guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Friday, Feb. 8. She returns to the show to promote her Netflix series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
It will be a homecoming of sorts for Kemper when she returns to NBC for Meyers’ show. NBC helped raise Kemper’s profile thanks to her role as Erin on The Office from seasons six through nine. But well before that Kemper was featured in number of skits for NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien, proving she has a long history with late night.
Kemper will be plugging Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The Netflix series had the second half of its fourth season released on Jan. 25. It marks the end of the Tina Fey-created series despite receiving critical acclaim and becoming one of Netflix’s top original programs.
But a comedian as talented as Ellie Kemper won’t be out of work for too long. You can hear her in the animated film The Secret Life of Pets 2 in June. And it’s almost certain that her name will be attached to a new television series sooner than later. Her late night interviews prove how funny she is and why fans will flock to wherever they can see her.
