Killer Mike on Late Night with Seth Meyers

On Wednesday Jan. 30 Late Night with Seth Meyers welcomes Killer Mike to the show. The Run the Jewels rapper recently debuted his Netflix series Trigger Warning.

Killer Mike has become just as well-known for his activism efforts as for his musical talents. He gained plenty of attention for his work with Senator Bernie Sanders during Sanders’ bid for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 presidential election.

Trigger Warning is a documentary series that follows Killer Mike and his efforts to enact social change. Topics covered in the first six episode range from the education system to black people and the church to the unifying power of music.

While the show will look to address some pretty heavy and important topics, it will also come with a certain level of humor. If you’ve seen any interviews with Killer Mike then you know he is a very funny guy in addition to having an insightful perspective on things.

He recently sat down with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show and we can expect some of the same conversation to happen on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Any time Killer Mike is talking, it’s worth taking a listen.
