Robert Irwin on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Animal experts have been a late night staple for a long, long time. Just about every one likes animals and they’ve always had a place in comedy. It also helps that the late night hosts are typically uneasy around the critters no matter how experienced of a handler is with them.

Robert Irwin is one of those experienced handlers who has been making a name for himself. The son of the late legend The Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, Robert is a conservationist who has his own television series back in his native Australia. Beyond that, he’s co-authored books and popped up on television shows in Great Britain. He has certainly done well to follow in the footsteps of his father.

Irwin made his late night television debut in February 2017 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Since that initial experience, he’s been back a few times including a memorable spot alongside Kevin Hart. Irwin’s appearances on The Tonight Show are always popular in result in millions of views once the clips reach YouTube. Expect more of the same on Wednesday when he brings a new group of animals to visit Jimmy Fallon in New York City.
