4. Brie Larson

It’s no secret that Saturday Night Live enjoys having a superhero host. Superhero and comic book films have become giant moneymakers in the film industry and the stars of the most successful ones can see huge jumps in popularity. That, in turn, can lead to getting a call from Lorne Michaels to host.

Past big screen heroes to host the show have included Chadwick Boseman, aka Black Panther, Gal Gadot, aka Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa, aka Aquaman. 2019 will be another big year for superhero films thanks to the release of Shazam! and Avengers: End Game.

But before those are released we’ll get to see Brie Larson in Captain Marvel. It will mark the first female-led movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is one of the most anticipated movies of 2019. As with any Marvel movie, box office numbers will be huge. That means a lot of attention will be on star Brie Larson.

Larson isn’t exactly a stranger to the spotlight. She’s not even 30 years old but has been acting since 1998 when she had a bit on episodes of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She’s also incredibly talented as proven by her Oscar win for Best Actress in 2015’s Room.

Comedy credits for Larson include 21 Jump StreetTrainwreck, and her 2016 gig hosting Saturday Night Live. 2019 would make sense for Larson to get another chance at hosting especially considering her 2016 episode performed so well.
