Is Saturday Night Live new tonight, Dec. 8?

Should we expect to see an all-new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight?
We are a week into December now and for most of us that means that the cold weather is really starting to hit. That doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing, though. It’s just more incentive to spend a night relaxing at home on the couch. And nothing pairs with that quite as well as Saturday Night Live.
The show has a left viewers out in the cold a few times already this year. There was a break after only the third episode of the season. A break for Thanksgiving meant there was another week with no new episodes. Thankfully things were back to normal last week when Claire Foy of The Crown and The Girl in the Spider’s Web hosted.
The inconsistent schedule has been tough for Saturday Night Live fans to deal with this season. It’s been hard to predict when a break is coming and when an all-new episode will be on. But that just shows the dedication of the fanbase who, even after 40+ seasons, are still hungry for new sketches each and every week. It’s no wonder that Saturday Night Live fans landed so high in the Fandom 250 rankings.
So have no fear, SNL fans. The show is indeed back with an all-new episode tonight Dec. 8. It will be hosted by none other than Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa. The actor is making his hosting debut and his Aquaman film is expected to have a huge opening when it gets released on Dec. 21.
