Is The Graham Norton Show new tonight, Nov. 30?
By Matt Moore
It’s Friday night and there is typically no better party than the one on Graham Norton’s couch. Will it be an all-new episode?
For celebrity interviews The Graham Norton Show may be the best in late night. Yes, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon may show a different side of someone or get a burst of uncontrollable laughter every now and then. And The Late Late Show with James Corden has a couch of its own. But both are feeding off the model set by Graham Norton.
The BBC show is nearing the end of its 24th series. That certainly sounds impressive but it’s worth noting that there are rarely more than 20 episodes in a series. Still, since 2007 The Graham Norton Show has been wildly successful in Great Britain. It’s gained viewership in the U.S. thanks to BBC America and viral clips hitting YouTube.
So with American shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Late Night with Seth Meyers taking the post-Thanksgiving week off and Conan still on hiatus, you may be experiencing a late night void. Whether it’s for the first time or you’re a dedicated fan, you should definitely tune into The Graham Norton Show. It will be all-new for Nov. 30 and with an outstanding guest lineup.
Steve Carell returns for another appearance. He was last seen alongside Judi Dench, Kristen Wiig, and Jamie Foxx reliving some interesting facial hair choices. Fellow American Michael B. Jordan will be there as well to promote Creed II.
Joining Carell and Jordan will be Dawn French making her 10th visit to The Graham Norton Show. She hosts the British talent show for children Little Big Shots based on the American version led by Ellen DeGeneres.
Also returning is actress Ruth Wilson. She is well known for her role in the television series Luther with Idris Elba that was recently announced as returning for another season. The musical guest will be Cheryl who earlier this month released the song “Love Made Me Do It.”
The Graham Norton Show airs on BBC One in Great Britain at 10:35 PM local time. The episode will air on BBC America on Dec. 7 at 11:00 PM ET. Those watching BBC America tonight will see the previous week’s episode with Nicole Kidman and Stephen Fry. You can always keep up with clips on the show’s YouTube page or right here at Last Night On!
