Saturday Night Live has taken a couple weeks off but will it be back tonight with an all new episode?

If you feel like something has been missing in your life lately, it may be the absence of Saturday Night Live. It was on Oct. 13 with host Seth Meyers that we last had new material coming live from New York.

A lot has happened in the past two weeks as seems to always be the case in the world of pop culture and politics. Things move fast and there are always a handful of major stories going on each week. Staying current and on top of these events is what makes Saturday Night Live the show that we know and love.

If your response to anything in the news lately has been “I can’t wait to see how SNL handles this” or “I wonder who they’ll get to play…” then you’re in luck. Saturday Night Live returns with an all new episode tonight.

Host Jonah Hill will be back for the fifth time. The musical guest will be Maggie Rogers. Check out Last Night On’s preview of the episode to find out what to watch for tonight.

One thing that you probably shouldn’t look for is another appearance by Alec Baldwin as President Trump. The actor found himself in a bit of legal trouble recently which may prevent him from jumping back into the spotlight as the commander in chief. Baldwin was arrested for assault allegedly over a parking dispute.
