Real Time with Bill Maher returns with an all-new episode tonight on HBO. Here’s all you need to know about who will be Maher’s guests.

It’s Friday so that means it’s Bill Maher’s night to give audiences his take on the week’s news. Real Time is back with another new episode as the midterm elections are just days away and President Trump continues to dominate the headlines.

Last week’s episode featured Maher’s unique take on how political correctness has ruined Halloween. He also sat down with adult film actress Stormy Daniels and had former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci on the panel. The two blasts from Trump’s past each had their own personal experiences with the presidents to discuss.

The tail end of Real Time’s 16th season has been strong ratings wise. The Oct. 26 episode was one of the few down spots, pulling in the lowest ratings for the show since June.

There is no shortage of topics to discuss for the Nov. 2 episode. As noted, election day is coming up so expect Maher to take one final look at the big picture and perhaps some individual races across the country. We also had President Trump indicating plans to erase the 14th Amendment via executive order as well as a migrant caravan getting closer to the U.S. border.

Here is who will be joining Maher on Real Time tonight:

Top-of-Show Interview

Maher kicks things off by chatting with New York Times columnist Bari Weiss. She has been caught up in her fair share of controversies for her political and social views that are both liberal and conservative based on the topic.

Most notably, she received criticism for her opinions on the #MeToo movement. She wrote a column defending comedian Aziz Ansari after allegations of sexual misconduct were leveled against him. More outrage against her led Weiss to defender herself during a March 2018 appearance on Real Time:

Mid-Show Interview

Bill will hit the mid-show by sitting down with legendary singer and actress Barbra Streisand. She will be promoting her latest album “Walls” which was released today. The lead single is “Don’t Lie to Me,” a criticism of American politics under President Donald Trump.

Streisand has never been shy about her support of Democrats so expect her to be fired up to talk with Maher about both her album and the elections. This will be her first appearance on Real Time.

The Panel

The panel will feature two returning guests and one making his first stop on the show.

Comedian Chelsea Handler will return to the panel. The very liberal Handler has been vocal in encouraging people to register to vote ahead of the midterm elections.

Jim VandeHei, the founder and chief executive officer of news website Axios, will also be back on the panel. He recently sat down with President Trump for an interview that will air on HBO on Nov. 4. A clip from that interview provides Trump’s thoughts on the birthright citizenship issue.

Anthony Romero of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) will be making his Real Time debut. He has been the ACLU’s executive director since 2001. You can expect him to weigh in heavily on the birthright citizenship topic and the migrant caravan issue.
