Halloween may be drawing to an end but if you’re still in the spooky spirit then watch some of the best sketches from Saturday Night Live celebrating Halloween.

As midnight on Oct. 31 approaches, so to does the end of another Halloween. It was on a Wednesday this year meaning most people had their parties on the weekend before. So if this is your favorite day of the year, you may be feeling the time crunch.

Things are even harder for fans of Saturday Night Live.  After no new episode came out last week, it has been a while since anything fresh has come from studio 8H. That meant that there was no new Halloween sketches to help bring in the 31st. NBC did run a Halloween special in place of a new episode.

So if you need some cheering up or want to hold onto that Halloween spirit then you’ve come to the right place. Kick back, open up a few pieces of candy and enjoy some of the best Halloween sketches from Saturday Night Live.

A Girl’s Halloween (2016)

Kellywise (2017)

Matt Foley (1993)

Drunk Uncle (2014)

Haunted Elevator/David S. Pumpkins (2016)

Stefon (2012)

There is perhaps some recency bias in this clips with most coming in the past few years. But for as much as the demise of Saturday Night Live has been reported, the show still makes plenty of hilarious clips and characters who become instant classics.

Stefon and Drunk Uncle are two of the best characters to ever join the Weekend Update desk. Matt Foley is on everyone’s top character list of all time. And the show’s use of pretaped bits has never been better, exemplified by the performances by Aidy Bryant and Kate McKinnon in those clips.

After three solid but not spectacular episodes in this year’s season 44, the show will look to get back at it on Nov. 3. Jonah Hill will host and in the process join the prestigious five-timers club. Last Night On will have your preview and recap so stay tuned!
