Conan O’Brien may be on hiatus from his late night show but there is still plenty of classic material worth looking at again to capture the Halloween spirit.

Conan is the middle of a hiatus that will run until January 2019. The show will then return to TBS with an all new format. Gone are the musical guests and the Basic Cable Band. Instead Conan O’Brien will focus on more taped segments and bits that play more to his comedic strengths and interests.

Prior to that you can catch Conan on his comedy tour and he’ll also have a podcast coming out. Those are a couple bright spots to help with the fact Conan has been off the airwaves. It is especially sad considering how well O’Brien does Halloween.

There have been a handful of classic clips that Team Coco drops every October. From costumes for pets to low budget costume ideas to Conan himself out at a Halloween store, it’s clear that O’Brien enjoys finding comedy in the holiday.

One of the best Halloween clips to come from Conan over the past few years also combined with a wildly popular segment on the show. The “Clueless Gamer” bits have been a surprise success for O’Brien and routinely get some of the most views on his YouTube channel. It was five years ago that we first saw the PC horror game edition:

In some “Clueless Gamer” editions, O’Brien is much more interested in whoever he is playing with. Or he is more focused on showing his disinterest in the game and tormenting the gaming expert, Aaron Bleyaert.

But in the horror game edition it seems like O’Brien’s imagination really has been captured by the three games. It could be the atmosphere they created for he and Bleyaert to play in but there is no denying that O’Brien is in to the game when you hear those screams. Hopefully you’re Halloween is just as scary or hilarious as Conan’s horror game experience!
