The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon brought back Lip Sync Battle on last night’s show. Guest Tiffany Haddish had the honor of facing off against Fallon and proved she was ready.

Is there anything Tiffany Haddish can’t do? The comedian and actress has had her career skyrocket since the release of Girls Trip, validating a long career in comedy for Haddish.

Now she is becoming one of the best guests in late night. It stared last year with her visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! and her story of a day out with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Haddish proved to be a hilarious story teller and has been a hit on every performance since then.

So with all that being said it’s not surprising that Jimmy Fallon would have a game ready for Haddish when she came to visit The Tonight Show. For the competitive Fallon, he may have picked the wrong game when he chose Lip Sync Battle. Check out Haddish’s performance below:

You can tell by Fallon’s reaction during Haddish’s performance of “Afro Puffs,” a 1994 song by The Lady of Rage, that he’s lost already. You can watch Lady of Rage’s video on YouTube for a comparison of how Haddish pulled it off.

As these bits have gone on, it has become more about pulling off a stunt or something unexpected to get the crowd going than how well the actually lip syncing is done. Fallon tries this with the temporary face tattoos while doing Post Malone’s “Psycho.” But he wasn’t ready for Haddish’s dance moves to go along with James Brown’s “Sex Machine.”

Just a day after it was announced that NBC had hired a new showrunner and producer in charge for The Tonight Show, it was nice to see Fallon and his team go with a fan-favorite bit. It may have been a signal that not everything will change and that The Tonight Show will still play to its strengths.
