As controversy continues to swirl around Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Stephen Colbert tracked down the Supreme Court nominee’s old friend ‘Squish.’

The more information that comes out about Brett Kavanaugh’s time in high school and college, the more material is made available for late night hosts. Stephen Colbert at The Late Show is certainly no exception. He has been critical of the nomination from the start, joked about Kavanaugh’s calendars, and ripped his performance during his testimony.

Colbert continued to take aim at the judge on Wednesday night with a little help from comedian Nick Kroll. Much has been made about Kavanaugh’s high school yearbook and references to partying with friends, most notably by Matt Damon’s parody on Saturday Night Live. Colbert and Kroll took things a step further with the introduction of the character Squish:

Kroll nails the “bro” personality which is no surprise for anyone familiar with his character Bobby Bottleservice. Kroll has made a habit of appearing on late night couches and in bits as various characters. Squish (or should it be “Squeeesh?”) covers everything from kegs, to chugging, to whatever the real definition of “boofing” may mean. If the digging into Kavanaugh’s past continues, Colbert may have reason to bring out more of the judge’s past party crew. And thanks to Squish, hearing UB40 in the future may never be the same.
