Kelsey Grammer literally has his wife’s name tattooed on his crotch

Frasier actor Kelsey Grammer revealed in an appearance on Conan on TBS that he has his wife’s name inked on his crotch to prevent him from cheating.

That’s one way to mark your territory…

For fans of Kelsey Grammer, the future is pretty bright. The actor will be reprising the role of Frasier Crane in an upcoming reboot of the show Frasier, and Grammer is keeping busy in the meantime. Last week, Grammer paid a visit to late night television with an appearance on the TBS series Conan, hosted by Conan O’Brien.

Without going to deep into Grammer’s love life here, let’s just say that the 63-year-old is on his fourth marriage with his wife, Kayte. It’s no secret that his third marriage to Camille Grammer ended badly as a result of Kelsey being unfaithful. Perhaps with this in mind, Kayte has taken extra measures to keep her husband faithful to her, to the point of having her name branded on his crotch!

“If ever, I maybe thought a peccadillo outside the marriage was a good idea, that whoever… would read that this particular piece of equipment was already signed,” Grammer explained to Conan. Though Kayte did persuade Grammer to get the tattoo, Kelsey still had the procedure done himself, so he must have been in agreement that it was a good idea. If nothing else, at least it helps give Kayte some peace of mind.

Will any married couples watching this consider doing something similar to keep things grounded in their own relationships? I wouldn’t be surprised. Best of luck moving forward to Kelsey and Kayte, however — hopefully Kelsey has finally found the one.
