After burning Donald Trump on last night’s Late Show, Stephen Colbert went for a strike by taking down his sons Eric and Don Jr. as well.

Last night on The Late Show, host Stephen Colbert opened his monologue speaking about the upcoming midterm elections. Clearly, Democrats are hoping to take back the House and maybe even the Senate as part of this “blue wave.” So, to fight back, Republicans have launched their new secret weapon, which, according to Colbert, is surprisingly Donald Trump, Jr.

Reportedly, Don Jr. is going to take on a big role in the midterms, though exactly how wasn’t specified. “Which means he’s going to have to take some serious time off from…” Colbert wonders aloud, before falling completely silent. Struggle as he may, he can’t think of anything Don Jr. actually does, because he doesn’t seem to do anything.

So far, Don Jr. has helped by organizing a private fundraiser for Congress hopeful Greg Pence – Vice President Mike Pence’s brother. “That’s an exciting double bill,” Colbert jokes. “If you like Trump/Pence, and don’t care which ones.”

It leads into Colbert taking a shot at Trump’s other son, Eric. Going straight into a harsh Eric impression, Colbert bares his front teeth to make them look bigger, mocking Eric’s appearance. “They gave me a very important role,” Colbert says, as Eric. That role turned out to be passing out bumper stickers at a grocery store, but he still managed to screw that up by losing them.

These burns can’t feel too well for the Trump family. But with ratings only climbing, Colbert will be dishing it out for years to come. To keep up, tune in when The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST only on CBS.
