Is Saturday Night Live new tonight, May 12th, 2018?

There will there be an all new episode of Saturday Night Live premiering tonight on NBC? We have all of the info about the show right here!

Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, totally killed it last week on Saturday Night Live. Hopefully, we’ll be getting another quality new episode tonight to keep the laughs on Saturday night coming. With that said, will tonight’s episode of SNL be all new, or are we looking at a repeat!

Here’s the good news: YES, tonight’s episode is all new! The penultimate episode of the season will be hosted by the one and only Amy Schumer, whose film I Feel Pretty recently hit theaters. Joining her as the show’s musical guest will be Kacey Musgraves. It’s going to be a good episode it seems on the surface, so hopefully it will deliver.

The bad news is that this is one of two episodes left for the rest of the season. Tina Fey will be closing out the season with the finale next week, with Nicki Minaj coming on board as the musical guest. We’ll be left with the show’s annual summer break afterward, and though an official return date isn’t yet specified, we can expect the show to come back sometime around late September or early October.
