Netflix officially renews Black Mirror for Season 5

There’s more creepy episodes of Black Mirror yet to come as the streaming service Netflix has officially renewed the show for another season.

There’s plenty more Black Mirror where the first four seasons came from!

Over at The Hollywood Reporter, news has been confirmed that Netflix has renewed the show for a fifth season. Further details are still unknown, such as how many episodes will be included and a possible release date. Just know that Season 5 is definitely coming, which may not be surprising news, but it’s still great news.

This show got its start in the UK with its first two seasons, which are very critically-acclaimed. Black Mirror was then moved to Netflix where it has only gotten more popular. Those just discovering it are wondering what they’ve been missing as it’s safe to say there is no other show like this that’s out there right now.

What’s most interesting about this show is how vastly different each episode of the series is. It goes from one theme to another, which is how we ultimately get very unique shows like Season 4’s USS Callister. The pressure will be on to keep the series surprising us, so we will have to see what they come up with once Season 5 gets here.
