Is Saturday Night Live new tonight, January 20th?

It’s the date of January 20th, 2018, and Saturday Night Live will be playing tonight on NBC. But will it be a new episode? We have all of the info here.
“Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”
If you’re a fan of Saturday Night Live, you’re hoping that tonight’s episode won’t be a repeat. Season 43 has been solid so far and hopefully that trend will continue tonight in a new show. Fortunately, there is in fact a new episode on tonight, which is the good news you came here for!
Golden Globe winner Jessica Chastain is serving as the guest host for tonight’s show. Chastain has had many high profile roles, most recently in Molly’s Game. This will be her first time hosting SNL, however, but given her talent on the big screen, there’s no doubt it will translate well to the show.
As for the musical guest, actor and singer Troye Sivan. This will be the 22 year old’s first appearance on the show. On the program will the first live performance of his new single “My My My!” Sivan is a rising star and this could be the first of many appearances on the program.
We are always hoping Alec Baldwin will show up on the program to portray Donald Trump. However, that’s never guaranteed, as it’s usually a surprise. He hasn’t been confirmed to be on the show tonight but you never know when he just might appear!
